What to Do If My Old SIM Card Does Not Fit In My New OPPO Phone?
Situation: You bought a new phone, but when your old SIM does not fit into it.
Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.
If your old SIM doesn't fit your new phone, the best option is to replace the SIM and transfer your contacts and other data to the new SIM.
Perform the following two steps to have your old SIM contacts on your new phone:
Step 1: Export your old SIM contacts to your old phone
Exporting contacts will copy and store your SIM contacts on your old phone memory.
1. On your old phone, go to [Settings] > [System Apps] > [Contacts] > [SIM Card Contacts].
On some devices, you may need to go to [Settings] > [Contacts] > [SIM Card Contacts].
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap [Export].
3. Select the contacts you want to export or tap [Select All] > [Export].
Step 2: Import the contacts stored on the old phone to your new OPPO phone through Bluetooth
Importing contacts will copy the contacts from one phone and store it in another phone.
1. On your new OPPO phone, go to [Settings] > [System Apps] > [Contacts] > [Import/Export Contacts] > [Import from Other Phones].
2. Select your old phone type (iPhone or Android).
3. Turn on Bluetooth for both phones and tap [Next] at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select the phone you want to import the contacts from.
5. Accept the Bluetooth Pairing request on the other phone and tap OK to allow access. The contacts will start transferring to your new phone.
6. Once transferred, on the new phone, select [Phone] as the destination to store the contacts. The contacts are successfully imported to your phone storage.
