Take a Partial Screenshot with 3-Finger Touch and Hold

Situation: You want to know how to take partial screenshots on your phone screen.

Applicable to: ColorOS 7 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone].

Taking screenshots usually copies the entire screen of your device but with the 3-Finger Screenshot, you can now take a whole or partial screenshot.

How to Enable 3-Finger Touch and Hold Screenshot?

Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Screenshot]  > Toggle [3-Finger Touch and Hold] to enable.

How to take a screenshot?

  1. Touch and hold with 3 fingers the part you want to copy. You may copy the entire screen, too. Let go of the 3-finger and move or adjust the partial screenshot around using one, two, three fingers depending on which one is the most convenient for you.

  2. Once done with the screenshot, you can choose to Cancel, Send, Edit, or Save.
