Is Screen Refresh Rate the Same as Frame Rate (FPS)?

 

Situation: You want to know about screen refresh rate, touch response rate, and frame rate.

No, they are two different functions. 

Screen refresh rate (Hz) is how many times the screen refreshes its image in one second, while frame rate (FPS) is how many frames or images the phone can display in a second. Although, these two are frequently linked to each other but the refresh rate of the screen does not affect the frame rate it will output.
