How to Fix Unable to Pair OPPO Phone to Other Devices
When connecting other devices to your OPPO phone, you need to pair them beforehand. However, there are some instances when pairing may fail or be unsuccessful due to the distance between the devices. To learn about troubleshooting steps, follow the simple guide we created for you below.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
Fix pairing of OPPO phone to other devices
Follow the troubleshooting steps below if your OPPO phone won't pair to a smartphone or any other device.
Make sure Bluetooth devices are near each other
For best performance, place both the devices approximately within 10 meters and with no third-party object blocking the devices.
Make sure to charge both devices
Check the battery percentage of your devices and make sure it has at least 30% battery or above.
Turn the Airplane mode on and off
There are two ways to turn the Airplane mode on/off.
Control Center: Swipe down from the top to see Control Center and tap the [
Airplane mode] icon. If you can't see the Airplane mode icon, check How to Rearrange Control Center Icons.
Settings: Go to [Settings] and toggle [Airplane mode] to turn on/off. Or go to [Settings] > [Connection & Sharing] and toggle [Airplane mode] turn on/off.
Turn off Power Saving mode or Energy saver
Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [Power saving mode] and toggle to disable [Power saving mode].
Check your OPPO phone for the latest version
Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] / [System Updates] / [About Device].
Clear the Bluetooth cache and data
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Apps]> [App Management] and tap the [three-dotted] icon in the upper right corner > [Show System] > [Bluetooth]> [Storage Usage] > [Clear cache] > [Clear data].

Wipe the cache partition on the phone in Phone Manager
You can clean up the cache and cookies of your phone through the Phone Manager. See Clear Cache and Cookies in OPPO Phone.
Restart the phone
Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
Reset to system settings
Resetting the system settings will not delete any data or media files. See How to Factory Reset an OPPO Phone.
