How to Fix an OPPO Phone Screen Not Working After Dropping
Dropped your OPPO phone accidentally, and now the screen won't turn on or displays a black screen? A damaged display or software glitches from the fall often cause this problem. Follow these troubleshooting steps to fix your screen and restore its functionality quickly.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How to Fix the Black Screen Issue
Dropping your phone may cause the connection between the screen's LCD connectors to be lost, causing a black screen. If you can tell your OPPO phone is on, but the screen is black and won't respond, here are a few things you can do to get your OPPO phone working again:
Check the Power and Volume buttons
Check if the Power and Volume buttons of your OPPO phone are responding properly and not physically stuck. If it’s stuck, you may need to take your phone to our Service Center for repair.
Check for a Loose Display Screen Connection
If your phone's screen is loosely connected to the phone, take your phone to our Service Center and get the LCD screen firmly fixed.
Force restart your phone
Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.

Note: A force restart won't erase the content on your phone, except for items that are broken or invalid.
Charge the Phone
Plug your phone into the original charger and let it charge for up to 30 minutes, then try again. If in case your phone won't charge, try using a different cable and wall charger.
Enter Recovery Mode
Turn off your OPPO phone, then press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons for at least eight seconds, until the phone enters Recovery Mode. If the screen turns on, choose a language and tap [Reboot Device].
When to Seek Professional Repair
If your OPPO phone continues to show a black screen or remains unresponsive after trying the basic troubleshooting steps above, it could indicate a serious hardware or software issue.
