How to Fix If Auto-Brightness Is Not Working on Your OPPO?

Situation: Your phone's auto-brightness is not working properly.

Try the following options to troubleshoot:

1. Restart the phone.

2. Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] to check for and update your phone's software to the latest version.

3. Perform routine tests for the *ambient light sensor. Go to [Phone Manager] > [Component Check] > [Detect Now]. Select [Sensor] and disable other components. Tap [Start Detection] and follow the on-screen instructions to see if the light sensor works.

*Ambient light sensor is a sensor that detects the amount of light exposed to the sensor and sets the phone brightness automatically.
