How to Fix Lock Screen Magazine Not Changing on OPPO Phone

The lock screen magazine on your OPPO phone gives you various images to see every time you lock your phone. You can switch from one lock screen to another by swiping from right to left to change it. However, if your lock screen magazine is not changing, you can try clearing the cache in the settings. To learn more about this, continue reading!


Note: Available for ColorOS 3.0 and above. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

Fix Lock screen magazine not changing

Check the troubleshooting below if your lock screen magazine is not changing.


1. Check if the Lock screen magazine is enabled.

You can check if the Lock screen magazine is enabled per the ColorOS version of your OPPO phone below.

  • For ColorOS 12 and aboveGo to [Settings] > [Home screen & Lockscreen] > [Lock Screen Magazine] > enable the [Lock Screen Magazine].

  • For ColorOS 11 to 11.1: Go to [Settings] > [Home screen & Always-on Display] > [Lock Screen Magazine].

  • For ColorOS 7.0 to 7.2: Go to [Settings] > [Home screen & Lock Screen Magazine] > [Lock Screen Magazine].

2. Clear the cache of the Lock Screen magazine.

The cache is the data stored temporarily in the phone memory when you use apps on your OPPO phone. See Clear Cache and Cookies in OPPO Phone.

3. Restart your OPPO phone.

Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Up button at the same time for about 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
