Generally, network and communication signal dead zones refer to:

• Areas out of operator's coverage or has no base station such as the backward village, virgin forest, Gobi, wilderness, desert, mountain, canyon, ocean, etc.

• In places where network and communication signal is blocked, interfered or shielded such as elevators, underground places, airtight buildings, physics laboratories, scientific research and military bases, etc.

• Borders of countries and regions without operator network coverage.
