Bluetooth connection delays can occur for various reasons. On OPPO phones, issues such as long pairing times or failure to connect are often caused by physical distance between devices, low battery levels, or nearby wireless interference. This article explains the potential causes and provides a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and restore efficient Bluetooth functionality on your OPPO device.

Note: Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About phone] / [About device].

Why Can't Bluetooth Devices Be Found/Paire

To solve the problem of your phone's Bluetooth not connecting to or pairing with other devices like earphones, cars, and other phones. Here are the things that you need to do and how to troubleshoot. Before proceeding to the troubleshooting steps, make sure you have the following instructions in check:

  • Make sure the devices you're trying to pair are within 10 meters.

  • Make sure your phone and other devices have enough charge. Some devices have smart power management that may turn off Bluetooth if the battery is too low. If your phone isn't pairing, ensure both devices have enough charge or are connected to power.

  • Make sure that your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode. The pairing mode varies depending on your product, so check the instruction manual for your Bluetooth device.

Update Your Phone to the Latest Software

Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] / [System Updates] / [About device]. Go to this link to update your OPPO smartphone to the latest software version.

Enable and Disable Your Phone's Bluetooth

Try enabling and disabling/turning your Bluetooth on and off to refresh the connection.

Ensure that Your Phone is Visible
