If You Can't Use Bluetooth Tethering

 

Situation: You are unable to tether your Internet via Bluetooth tethering.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

Bluetooth tethering allows you to share your phone's Internet connection through Bluetooth.

Try the following troubleshooting steps if your Bluetooth tethering fails:

  • Make sure your phone is successfully paired with the other device.

  • Make sure the paired device is given Internet access. Go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth], tap the paired device, and toggle on [Internet access].

  • Ensure the network-provided device can go online using mobile data or Wi-Fi.

  • Restart your OPPO phone and test again.

  • Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] and update your phone to the latest version of ColorOS.
