What is Bluetooth Tethering in Your OPPO Smartphone?
Bluetooth tethering is one of the ways of sharing the wireless connection of an Android device with another device using Bluetooth. Similar to Wi-Fi, you can connect multiple devices to your smartphone wirelessly. Read on to learn about Bluetooth tethering and the troubleshooting steps if Bluetooth tethering is not working.
Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.
Tether via Bluetooth
On your OPPO smartphone, go to [Settings] > [Other Wireless Connections] and enable [Bluetooth Tethering].

Enable Bluetooth for the other device, then pair the devices.
In your device, go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] and tap the paired device.
Toggle on [Internet access]. Note the Bluetooth tethering icon
in the status bar. As long as the target device is properly tethered to the other one, you will be able to use the Internet on the target device.

If you cannot tether via Bluetooth
Make sure you have [Bluetooth Tethering] enabled.
Make sure your phone is successfully paired with the other device.
Make sure the network-provided device can get online using mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Restart your OPPO phone and test again.
Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] / [System Updates] and update your phone to the latest software version.
Reset the phone system settings (this option is available with devices ColorOS 3.2 and above). Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Backup and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] > [Reset System Settings Only].
Note: This will not delete your data as this will only reset the system setting.
