What is Personal Hotspot
A Personal Hotspot allows you to share the Internet connection mobile data on your phone with other devices and still lets you browse the Internet on your own. Every OPPO phone has the option of a personal hotspot that helps to connect other devices to your phone's internet wirelessly. Follow the article to learn how to use your OPPO phone's hotspot.
Applicable to: Devices with ColorOS 3.0 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/[About Device].
How to use Personal Hotspot
The Personal Hotspot feature on smartphones provides a way to share an Internet connection with other devices. Using this option, the device creates a wireless network that is encrypted with a password. Other devices, such as laptops and tablets, can then connect to the wireless network and connect to the internet using the device's data connection.
Go to: [Settings] > [Other Wireless Connection/ Connection and sharing] > [Personal Hotspot]
Note: When turned on, your Internet connection will be shared and more data and power may be consumed. This will automatically turn off after 10 minutes when no device is connected.
