How to Share Personal Hotspot Using QR Code on OPPO Phone

OPPO smartphones running on ColorOS 11 and above devices can now share their hotspot via QR code. In this way, connecting to the internet has made it easier and more secure without having to enter the password manually. For more details, continue reading below.

 

Note: This article is applicable to ColorOS 11 and above devices. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

 

How to Share Hotspot Using QR Code

Go to [Settings] > [Connection & sharing] / [Other wireless connections] > [Personal hotspot] > toggle [Personal hotspot] to enable. Tap on [QR code], and then *verify your identity (if asked). After that, the QR code will be generated. Show the QR code and let them scan it to connect to your hotspot.

Note: If you have set up a passcode, it will ask you to verify your identity first before providing the QR code.
