​Use Key Combinations on Your OPPO Smartphone

Key combinations and shortcuts aid users in navigating their phones more easily than ever and save time on their frequently used tasks. Here's a list of key combinations to help you get around your phone.

How to use key combinations

Generally, you can use two buttons on your phone to generate a specific result. The common key combinations include the following:

When the phone is on:

1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons.

• Your OPPO phone will take a screenshot of the current page. 

1. Capture long screenshots: In about 2 seconds, your phone will be ready to capture a long screenshot. Tap [Page-down] to scroll to the next page, continue to tap Page-down until you want to stop capturing, then tap [Save] to generate a long screenshot.

2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons:

• Force Restart your phone: Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons for at least 8 seconds until your smartphone is restarted.
  

3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Down buttons: 

• *Quit the Talkback app temporarily. 

Note: *For ColorOS 6 and above, you may turn off TalkBack by long-pressing the Volume buttons (up and down) at the same time for 5 seconds, if the Accessibility shortcuts are enabled.

 

When the phone is off:

1. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons:

The phone will enter Recovery Mode, which does help to update the system, wipe data, check the disk, and more.

2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons:

The phone will be force restarted. Press and hold the two buttons until your phone is turned on.
