Unhide Files and Folders in OPPO File Manager

There are multiple system files in your phone that are hidden in the system folders of the phone storage of your device. Most of the time, these are just junk folders consuming your phone storage. You also might have hidden some folders in your phone storage or SD Card storage from prying eyes. You can either remove the junk, hidden files, and folders from your phone or you can access these files by unhiding them. Follow this article below to learn more about unhiding folders and files.


Applicable to: ColorOS 11 and above. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone]/ [About device].


Unhide Files & Folders

  • Go to [File Manager] > under Collections section Tap on [ā‹®] > [Show safe folder]. 

Note: These steps are only available in the default OPPO file manager.


How to Hide Folders in the File Manager

  • Go to [File Manager] > under Collections section Tap on [ā‹®] > [Hide safe folder].

Note: Unlike unhiding files and folders, you can only hide folders with the system file manager. The content of the hidden folder won't be visible anywhere.
