FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP is a simple way to share files stored on your phone to computers & smartphones wirelessly on a local network. The only requirement for FTP file sharing is that your phone and PC/ Android/ iOS Smartphone should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You can also connect both the device to a mobile hotspot for the same.
Note: FTP doesn't necessarily require the internet to share files.
Using FTP
Firstly, make sure that your phone and the device to which you want to share your files are connected to the same WiFi network and the open [File Manager] >Tap [] > [Start Service] > Enter [Username & Password] > [Save] > After saving, you will get an FTP address. Please enter this link address in your Smartphone's/ PC's browser and then enter the username and password, if required.
After entering the FTP address in your browsing and entering the credentials, You will see a list of all the files stored on your phone. You can perform actions such as copy, move, delete, rename, etc. on your Android files from your PC.
