Transferring files is made easier using the OPPO Share feature available on your OPPO device. Effortlessly migrate your files from your old OPPO phone to a new one, whether photos, videos, music, or even documents, OPPO Share can handle it all. Check out this step-by-step guide on how to use OPPO Share with other OPPO phone users.

Note: Applicable only for ColorOS 3.1 and above devices. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

  • OPPO Share is exclusively for OPPO smartphones only. However, OPPO smartphones running ColorOS 7.0 and above supports sharing files with VIVO and Xiaomi phones.

What is OPPO Share?

The OPPO Share feature enables users with OPPO phones to swiftly share files with nearby OPPO phones. This feature automatically activates the Bluetooth on the OPPO handset to facilitate file transfer. It also detects when it has been idle for 5 minutes and automatically turns itself off.

How to Enable OPPO Share

  1. Swipe down from the top of the phone screen to open the Control Center.

Note: For ColorOS 3.2 and below, you may need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Center.
  2. Tap the [OPPO Share] icon to enable it on both phones (sender and receiver).

  3. On the sender's phone, select the item you want to share and tap [Send].

  4. Select the receiver's profile to share files.

  5. Tap [Accept] on the invitation to connect on the sender's phone.

  6. On the receiver's phone, tap [Accept] to receive the file. The message, "File Received successfully" will appear.

  7. Tap [View] to open the file.

Note: The first time you use the OPPO Share feature, you'll be asked which application you want to use to open the file sent. Choose the application you prefer the most.
  8. Don't forget to manually turn off the OPPO Share feature by tapping the [OPPO Share] icon again on your OPPO smartphone's Control Center.
