All you have to do is plug your OPPO smartphone into your PC using a compatible cable, and you can begin the file transfer. To learn how to transfer files such as photos, videos, audio, or even documents, continue reading the simple guide we created below.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

For ColorOS 13.2 and above system version models, after the phone is connected to USB, the USB selection interface will not immediately appear, and the default USB function for charging will be used. If you wish to change your preference for connecting to your computer, you need to tap [View more options] in the notification center to select [Transfer files].
How to Transfer Files From OPPO to PC
Follow the steps below on how you can transfer your files from your OPPO phone to a PC/laptop.
1. Enter Developer Options: This feature gives you access to hidden settings on Android phones. When the Developer mode is enabled on your OPPO phone, you can do debugging and application development. Go to this link to learn how to enable your OPPO phone's Developer Options.
2. Connect your phone to a Windows PC using a USB cable: There will be a prompt on the phone asking for authorization if you want to allow USB Debugging for the specific Windows PC.
Alternatively, you can toggle on [USB debugging] in Developer Options. USB Debugging allows your OPPO phone to communicate with the computer.
3. Tap the notification or the prompt and choose [Transfer Files] or [Transfer Photos] to start transferring files to your computer.
4. On your computer, go to the [File Explorer] and look for your OPPO phone model name, then click [Internal shared storage].
5. Once you're in the Internal shared storage folder, look for the files you wish to transfer, then right-click and copy and paste it to a folder to your computer.
If the Computer Cannot Detect Your Phone
Download and install the driver. If your computer cannot read the USB driver, go to your computer and enter [Device Manager] > double-tap your OPPO smartphone > [Install the drive from this computer equipment] / [Manually download driver online]. Check if this problem is solved.
Check the USB cable. Check your USB cable for signs of damage, like breakage or bent prongs. Use another cable to check if it can be detected by your computer.
Use another USB Port or computer/PC. Use another USB port to check if the problem can be solved. And if you can, try it with another computer/PC.
Restart both the phone and the computer. Restart the computer & phone and try it again. To reboot the phone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the "Slide down to power off" message appears. Drag the power icon down to turn off the phone. To turn the phone back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the OPPO logo.
Turn on the Airplane mode on the computer. If Windows 10 doesn’t recognize your OPPO phone, turn on the Airplane mode on your computer and try. If your phone is recognized by your computer in Airplane mode, continue with file transfer and turn off the Airplane mode once complete.
Check the phone's software. Make sure the phone software is up to date in [Settings] > [Software Update] / [System Update] / [About Device] and then restart the phone.
Reset the phone system settings (this option is available with devices ColorOS 3.2 and above). Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Backup and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] > [Reset System Settings Only]. For further details, see How to Factory Reset Your OPPO Phone.
