How to Manage OPPO Phone Files From MacBook
Establishing effective file management ensures all the documents on your device remain safe and easy to locate and access when needed. As a result, you can now manage the files from your OPPO device on your Apple MacBook, which allows you to open, edit, and save files without needing to download or transfer them. Note: This article only applies to OPPO phone models with ColorOS 15.0.1 and above. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How to Control Files from OPPO to Mac
Connect your OPPO device to your MacBook. See How to Connect Your OPPO Phone to a Mac Using O+ Connect.
Then, open the [O+ Connect] app on your Mac, where you can access files on your device and perform any of the following actions:
Edit files: To open a file, right-click and select [Open] or double-click on the file. Any modifications made on your Mac will be synced with the file on your OPPO device.
Save files to Mac: Right-click a file and choose [Save to PC], drag the file to the desktop, or right-click the file and select [Copy], and paste it to the desktop.
Share files: Select a file and drag it to a third-party app, or right-click the file and choose [Copy] and paste it to the app.
How to Import Files to Your Phone
On your Mac, open the [O+ Connect] app, click [Import Files], then select the files you wish to import. Alternatively, you can also drag or copy and paste the files to your phone.
Note: This feature is only available for certain third-party apps.
