Install Android File Transfer

1. Open the Safari web browser on your MacBook.

2. Type or copy and paste this link https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ in the address bar of the web browser and press ⏎ Return.

3. Click on [DOWNLOAD NOW].

   

4. Go to the Downloads folder and click [androidfiletransfer.dmg].

    

5. Drag Android File Transfer to the Application folder.

    

6. Open the software from the Application folder.

   

7. When you are using it for the first time, it usually will not work, please click [Force to stop] to stop it.

OPPO phone not detected by MacBook

1. Force restart your OPPO phone: Press and hold both the Power and Volume Up buttons for at least 8 seconds until the phone is turned on.

2. Enable USB Debugging: To enable USB Debugging on your OPPO phone, go to How to Enable USB Debugging on OPPO Phone.

3. Connect to your MacBook.

2. Click [Skip] if it says that MacBook is unable to detect the USB cable.
