Troubleshooting Guide for Third Party Application Malfunction

Fault Phenomenon:

Google App malfunction; Super App malfunction（Hot social app）; Other social Media App malfunction; Game App malfunction; Third-Party Multimedia App malfunction; Third-Party Launcher beautify Apps malfunction; Third-Party browser malfunction; Other third-party APP malfunction.
 

Fault Cause:

1. Please suggest the customer clean the Apps in the background or restart the phone;

2. Confirm the classification of the malfunction.

1. For the network-related malfunction: Switch the Network from the current network to WIFI, Data or other available Networks.

2. For the permission-related malfunction: Check the status of this App’s Privacy Permissions in the Phone Manager;

1. Confirm the case for the malfunction:

For the malfunction with a single case： The fault may result from the wrong user’s account or the special condition with the phone;

For the malfunction with multiple cases:The fault may result from the Application’s incompatibility, and please send the feedback to China HQ.

1. Confirm whether the phone and the Application has been upgraded to the latest version. If not, suggest the customer upgrade the phone and the application to the latest version;

2. Suggest the customer backup all the data of the application, and clean the application cache; 

3. Suggest the customer backup all the data of the Application, and reinstall the Application;

4. Suggest the customer backup all the data in the phone and reset the phone;

5. If the problem cannot be solved, suggest the customer bring the Purchase Invoice, Warranty Card and the phone to the nearest OPPO customer service center for further detection and repair;

6. After receiving the faulty phone, the service center firstly handles the fault according to the above steps; if the fault still recurs, flash the phone for the customer;

7. If the fault still recurs after flashing, submit the feedback to China HQ.
