Troubleshooting Guide for Built-in APK Malfunctions

Troubleshooting Method:

1. Confirm whether just a single application is forced close/ prompts ANR（Application Not Responding）/ respond slowly; If the malfunction just appears in a single application, please suggest the customer clear the application running in the background and clear the application data/cache(Path:【Settings】—【Apps Management】—Find the Application-Clear data/cache)

2. Confirm whether there are too many applications running in the background; Too many applications running in the background will lead to insufficient storage to sustain the normal operation of the system; Please suggest the customer close or clear unnecessary running applications;

3. Confirm whether the phone has performed for a long time; If the phone has powered on for a long time, the accumulated cache debris will overload CPU, causing built-in APK malfunction. Please suggest the customer restart the phone and warmly guide the customer to restart the phone regularly;

4. Confirm whether the software has been updated to the latest version; if it is, please upgrade the phone to the latest version（Path: Settings- Software Updates）

5. If it cannot be solved, please suggest the customer backup all the data in the phone and reset the phone;

6. If the problem cannot be solved, suggest the customer bring the Purchase Invoice, Warranty Card and the phone to the nearest OPPO customer service center for further detection and repair;

7. After receiving the faulty phone, the service center firstly handles the fault according to the above steps; if the fault still recurs, flash the phone for the customer;

8. If the APK malfunction involves a certain hardware, such as camera, flashlight and compass, please troubleshoot and inspect the relevant hardware;

9. If the problem has not been solved, please send the feedback to China HQ.
