Swipe-up Gesture Navigation on OPPO Phone

The Swipe-up gestures on your OPPO phone allow you to hide the navigation keys and use your phone on full screen. Instead of using the navigation keys, such as the Recent Task key, Home, and the Back button, you can use the gesture layouts available on your OPPO device. To know how you can enable and use the Swipe-up gesture, keep reading below!


Note: Available only for ColorOS 5.0 to ColorOS 11.1 devices. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About phone].

  • The Swipe-up gesture navigation is not available for ColorOS 11.2 and above. However, you can still use the navigation features of your phone by going to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] / [System Settings] / [Convenience Aid] > [System navigation] / [Navigation keys].


Use Swipe-up navigation gestures

For ColorOS 11: 

Go to [Settings] > [Convenience Tools] > [Navigation] > [More] > [Swipe-up Gestures].

For ColorOS 7.1 to 7.2: 

Go to [Settings] > [Convenience Tools] > [Navigation Buttons] > [More] > [Swipe-up Gestures].


For ColorOS 6.0 to 6.1: 

Go to [Settings] > [Convenience Aid] > [Navigation Keys] > [Swipe-up Gestures].


Gesture layouts

Back at both sides

Swipe up from the left or right bottom to return to the upper page, swipe up from the middle bottom to get to the Home screen, and swipe up from the middle bottom and pause 1 second to view recent tasks.

Simple gestures

Swipe up from the middle bottom to get to the Home screen, and swipe up from the middle bottom and pause for 1 second to view recent tasks.

Back on the right

Swipe up from the left bottom to view recent tasks, swipe up from the middle bottom to get to the Home screen, and swipe up from the right bottom to return to the upper page.

 

Back on the left

Swipe up from the left bottom to return to the upper page, swipe up from the middle bottom to get to the Home screen, and swipe up from the right bottom to view recent tasks. 

 

Hide Gesture Guide Bar

Gesture Guide Bar is the translucent line at the bottom of the screen, which allows you to quickly distinguish the left, middle, and right swipe-up regions. To hide the guide bar, toggle [Hide Gesture Guide Bar] to enable.


Prevent accidental touching

Turn on [Mistouch Prevention] / [Mistouch Prevention for Swipe Gestures from Both Sides] / [Mistouch Prevention for Swipe-up Gestures]. This will prevent accidental navigation on your phone when you are not using it.


Note: To use gesture navigation when the app is in Landscape Mode, you need to swipe up to bring up the guide bar first, then swipe up again in the same area.
