Play Store Issue: Download Pending, Unable to Update or Download Apps
If you are attempting to download or update an app but the status remains stuck on pending, several factors may be contributing to the issue, including pending downloads or an unstable internet connection. Follow the outlined guide below to resolve the Play Store issues on your OPPO phone.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How to Fix Play Store Issues
Check Pending Downloads
The other application on your OPPO phone that's updating might be the cause of why you can't update or download an app.
Check your pending updates on [Play Store] and tap your [Profile icon] at the upper right > [Manage apps & device] and check apps that are being updated or downloaded and tap [X] to cancel the update or download.
Internet Connection Issues
The mobile data and Wi-Fi network are working properly, but still saying that there's no network available, so you are stuck with the update of an application. Check the network permission of the Google Play Store on your phone through the following steps.
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 16: Go to [Settings] > [Mobile Network] > [Data Usage] > [Network access] and look for [Google Play Store] and select [Wi-Fi & Mobile Data].
For ColorOS 7.0 to ColorOS 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [SIM Card & Mobile Data] > [Data Usage] > [Network Permissions] > look for [Google Play Store] > select [Wi-Fi & Mobile Data].
Check Network Preference on Play Store
Go to [Play Store] and tap your [Profile icon] on the upper right > [Settings] > [Network preferences] > [App download preference] > [Over any network]. Then repeat the same steps for [Auto-update apps].
Check Your Phone's Storage Space

Remove and Re-add Your Google Account on the Play Store

Restart Your OPPO phone
Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
Uninstall the Updates of Your Google Play Store
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 16: Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [App Management] > [Google Play Store] > and tap the [3-dotted] icon at the upper right corner and tap [Uninstall updates].
For ColorOS 7 to ColorOS 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [App list] > [Google Play Store] and tap the [
two-dotted] icon at the upper right and tap [Uninstall updates].
Check for the Latest Software Update

Clear Data and Cache of Play Store
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [App management] > [Google Play Store] > [Storage usage] > [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 7.0 to ColorOS 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [App list] > [Google Play Store] > [Storage usage] > [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
