3 Charging & Battery

3.1 Charging instructions

Air:

Play:

The headset can be used for about 5 hours on a single charge, and the charging box can store 2.5 additional charges to meet the 16 hour battery life.

Power display (charging box indicator)

When the headset is in the charging box, the indicator light shows the power of the headset; When the headset is removed, the indicator light shows the power of the charging box.

Low power indication

Red indicates low power, yellow indicates medium power, and green indicates high power.

When your headset and charging box need to be charged, you can put the headset into the charging box and use the charger to charge the charging box. At this time, the charger will charge the headset and charging box at the same time.

Charging operation

When the status bar of the mobile phone shows that the power of the headset is insufficient (the mobile phone needs to support the function of displaying the power of the Bluetooth headset), please put the headset into the charging box and cover it properly. The gold contact at the bottom of the headset contacts with the two shrapnel at the bottom of the charging box to charge the headset. About 1.5h, the charging box will fully charge the headset.

The charging box supports type-C charging wire and charger with 5V output. When charging, the indicator light will be on, indicating that charging has started.

Charging environment

Please charge the headset and charging box at 17 ℃ - 43 ℃. When the temperature is between 2 ℃ - 17 ℃ and 43 ℃ - 52 ℃, the charging speed will slow down and the charging time will be longer (more than 2H). When the temperature is below 2 ℃ or above 52 ℃, the headset and charging box will not be charged.

In addition, the OPPO EncoAir / Play charging box does not support wireless charging.

Battery and charging related parameters: the battery capacity of Air's single headset is 25 MAH, and the battery capacity of charging box is 440 MAH. The battery capacity of a single headset of Play is 25 MAH, and the battery capacity of the charging box is 300 MAH. 3.2 Charging problem

3.2.1 When charging any charging box, the indicator light does not light

l  Problems:

l  Cause of the problem:

The type-C line is not in good contact with the charging box;

When the charging voltage of the adapter used is too high / too low, or the charging current is too high, the charging box enters the charging protection mechanism, stops charging, and the indicator light is not on.

3.2.2 Why can't I recharge my headset

l  Problems

3.2.3 Can all type-C charging cables charge the charging box

All type-C charging cables can be charged, but it is recommended to use matching type-C charging cable and power adapter, and try to use regular brand 5V / 1A charger for charging;

3.2.4 Can I charge with a battery?

Most of the charging treasures have 5v1A output to charge the charging box, but the type-C interface charging line is required.

3.2.5 What to pay attention to when charging

1. It is recommended to use standard brand charger with output voltage of 5V and current of 1A

2. Do not charge in high temperature, high humidity or low temperature environment

3. If there is sweat, rain or other liquid on the earphone / charging box (especially the golden copper post), please clean it before charging to avoid corrosion (which may cause product damage).

4. The battery box of the earphone will be damaged after 60 days of storage when it is dead. It is recommended to charge it every month (the battery box of the earphone is full) to avoid battery damage.

3.2.6 Can I charge the headset directly on the computer

Yes, you can use the type-C charging cable to plug in the computer to charge the headset.

3.2.7 Can I use a tablet or laptop charger to charge the charging box

5V / 1A charger can charge the product. Some tablet or laptop chargers can charge the headset, but some tablet or laptop chargers do not support the charging protocol, so it is recommended to use mobile phone charger to charge the headset.

3.2.8 Can I use headphones during charging

3.2.9 Does the lack of power in the charging box affect the use of headphones

3.2.10 Is the headset battery replaceable

No, the earphone battery is built-in lithium-ion battery and cannot be replaced.

3.2.11 Charging box does not charge headphones sometimes (poor contact with shrapnel)

If your product fails to charge once in a while, it may be that the shrapnel of the charging box is foreign or dirty, please try to clean it with a cotton swab. In addition, for the sake of battery safety, do not charge the headset at low or high temperature, and charge the battery at 2 ~ 52 ℃. 3.3 Power (display) problem

3.3.1 Why is the headset used for a short time

l  Problem: headphone usage time is short

l  Problem reason:

1. The power of the headset is low

2. The volume consumes more power than the conference

3. The earphone may be in the environment with large electromagnetic interference, or there are barriers between the earphone and the mobile phone, so the power consumption is faster

4. The capacity of the battery will be reduced in low temperature

l  Solution:

1. It is recommended that you use the headset after it is fully charged

2. It is suggested that you turn down the volume to see if the use time is normal

3. Please keep away from microwave oven, monitor and other objects with large electromagnetic interference when using, and make sure that there is no barrier between headset and mobile phone

4. Confirm the time difference of restoring normal temperature (25 ℃)

3.3.2 Power related: the headset won't turn off automatically / it's out of power all night / it doesn't work well when it's on the desk. Why does it still power down after a day (no music Playing)?

In order to connect the headset back to the mobile phone at any time, when the headset leaves the charging box when it is fully charged and is not used for a long time, it will enter the low-power standby mode, and the battery life in the standby mode can reach more than 20 hours. It is recommended that if you do not use the headset for a long time, please put the headset back into the charging box and ensure that the charging contact between the headset and the box can charge normally.

3.3.3 After a few days, the headphones are dead

If the earphone is put in the box without closing the cover, the earphone and the box are in standby mode. It is recommended to put the earphone in the box and close the cover if it is not in use.

3.3.4 How to watch the power of earphone on mobile phone?

After the headset is connected with the mobile phone, the power of the lower one will be displayed in the notification bar icon of the mobile phone. You can check the battery capacity through the status of the battery cell in the upper right corner of the mobile phone screen. OPPO mobile phone is equipped with coloros 11.0 and above * and can check the power of the headset at the settings Bluetooth paired device. Apple also supports checking the battery capacity through the status of the battery cell in the upper right corner of the screen.

Note: some mobile phones do not support the function of checking the power of Bluetooth devices in the notification bar. OPPO mobile phone needs the version number of "OPPO wireless device" higher than 3.7.72, and supports to view the left and right ear dual power on the Bluetooth interface.

3.3.5 Why don't you display the remaining power when connecting to other brands of mobile phones

OPPO EncoAir will report the remaining power to all smart phones, but the system interface design of each brand of mobile phone is different, and the remaining power may be displayed in different positions in the mobile phone system. 3.3.6 How to deal with the big difference between left and right ears

OPPO EncoAir / Play may have inconsistent power supply between left and right earphones under the following conditions:

1. The left and right earphones can be used separately, so when you only use one earphone, the power of the earphone will be lower;

2. When you put a earphone into the charging box, the earphone will be charged, so it has more power;

3. When calling for a long time, one of the earphones will start the noise reduction function, so that when you call, the other party can hear more clearly. But it also consumes more power.

In these cases, it is normal that the power of the left and right earphones is inconsistent. Just put the earphone into the charging box to charge.

4 Appearance & Structure & Accessories

4.1 What accessories are included

The accessories include a type-C charging cable.

4.2 The earphone is not easy to take out

In order to ensure the normal charging of the headset, the headset and the charging box are fixed by magnet adsorption. If you feel that the headset is not good to take out, it is recommended that you pinch the top end of the earphone handle and protrude out (as shown in the figure), which is easier to remove.



4.3 The strength of the shaft is not enough. Will it be disconnected during use

Our products have passed the rigorous test to ensure that the handle of the switch box is still good after 10000 times. Even after 10000 times, the shaft can continue to work, but there may be a slight gap between the upper and lower shells, which does not affect the functional test.

4.4 The upper and lower covers of the charging box shake

In order to ensure the stability of the switch cover, it is necessary to reserve a safety gap. Our normal opening of the box has passed 10000 times of verification. Please rest assured to use it.

4.5 How long does the headset last

The warranty period of OPPO EncoAir and OPPO EncoPlay is one year, but all the indexes of our products are designed according to the standard of far more than one year. With the long-term use of the product, the performance of the lithium battery will be lost, and the service life of the headset will be slightly shortened, which is a normal physical phenomenon.

4.6 Uneven closing of charging box cover (broken)

In order to ensure your long-term use of our products, we have reserved a proper gap between the upper and lower covers of the headset charging box, so as to make the product feel smoother when opening and closing the cover, and provide you with a better opening experience. This gap does not affect your normal use.

4.7 Is the headset absorbed in the charging box and will it fall out

If the earphone is put into the charging box, it will be absorbed in the box by the magnetic force and will not fall out during normal use.

There is an elastic mechanism design between the upper and lower covers of the charging box, so it will not be separated in normal use.

4.8 How to maintain the headset

1. Do not expose the headset to liquid or wet places;

   2. Do not use abrasive solvent to clean the headset;

3. Please try to avoid putting headphones in low temperature (below 0 ℃), high temperature (above 45 ℃) or in a large temperature difference environment for a long time. If you are in these environments for a long time, the activity of the battery is easily damaged, which will cause battery damage;

4. Do not expose the headset to open fire to avoid explosion risk;

5. do not touch the headset with sharp objects, which may cause scratches or damage;

6. Do not insert any object into the headset, which will damage the internal components;

7. Do not attempt to remove the headset;

8. If you do not use headphones for a long time, please ensure that they are placed in a dry place. If they are placed for more than one month, charge them on time to ensure the working performance of the battery and headphones.

9. Clean the silver metal part at the tail of earphone ear handle timely after exercise to avoid sweat entering the charging box, which leads to the inability to charge;

10. Keep the silver metal part at the tail of the ear handle clean, avoid the dust paint backlog, causing poor contact with the charging box, and causing the charging failure;

4.9 Is the headset waterproof

The charging box is not waterproof, and the headset can be limited to the water-proof life. The headset is designed with IPx4 water-proof design to prevent the impact of jet water from nozzles in all directions. It is recommended that you wipe the headset in time after sweating, and wipe the charging contact (silver metal part at the tail of the earphone handle) before putting it into the charging box. Splash proof, water resistance and dust prevention functions are not permanent and effective, and the protective performance may be reduced due to daily wear. Do not charge the headset in wet condition, and do not swim with headphones; Damage caused by immersion in liquid is not covered by warranty.

5.1.2 Why does the touch headset not respond

Cause of the problem

1. The touch position is not ideal, the correct touch position should be the top of the earphone handle;

2. The contact area between finger and earphone is too small. It is recommended to touch the top of earphone handle with finger pulp.

Solution

1. Touch the headset in the correct position according to the instructions;

2. Touch the headset with your finger abdomen. 

5.1.3 It is easy to touch the earphone by mistake

It is recommended to gently handle the earphone, and try to hold the left and right sides of the earphone stick (non touch area) when holding it

 

5.1.4 It is easy to touch the wake-up voice assistant by mistake when touching repeatedly

By default, three clicks is to wake up the voice assistant function. If you double-click unsuccessfully, and then continue to tap, there is a probability that the three clicks will trigger the voice assistant function by mistake. Avoid frequent double-click to trigger three hits by mistake, and double-click at an interval of 1 s. If the three hit function is not commonly used, you can also turn off the three hit function through the earphone setting page of OPPO mobile phone (part) or download the "Huanlv" APK from the third party mobile phone;

5.2 Bluetooth pairing & Bluetooth connection & delay

5.2.1 Bluetooth connection description

How to connect Bluetooth

1. When using for the first time, make sure that the headset is in the charging box. Open the charging box and the headset will automatically enter the pairing state.

2. When you need to connect a new mobile phone, there are two ways to enter the pairing state

     1) Turn off the Bluetooth function of the original mobile phone, the headset will automatically enter the pairing state, and the headset will sound the pairing tone; Go to step 3

     2) Make sure that the earphone comes out of the box and is worn on the ear. Press and hold the earphone for 4 seconds to hear the pairing tone, and the earphone will enter the pairing state. Go to step 3

3. Turn on Bluetooth

     1) Regular pairing: you will find the Bluetooth headset (OPPO EncoAir or OPPO EncoPlay) and click to pair.

     2) Quick pairing: close to the OPPO mobile phone that supports quick pairing, and then when Bluetooth is on, the mobile phone will pop up the prompt of quick pairing, and complete the pairing according to the prompt on the screen.

How to disconnect

1. Put the two earphones into the box, close the box cover for 5S and disconnect them automatically.

2. Click the Bluetooth name after the device is connected, select unpaired and disconnect.

3. Click the Bluetooth name after the device is connected, and select to disconnect this connection.

4. Turn off the Bluetooth switch and disconnect the device.

Auto reconnect (paired phone)

5.2.2 Why can't I pair the Bluetooth headset when I find it

Problem

The phone searched for headphones, but could not pair them.

Cause of the problem

1. If you use Bluetooth to connect to 2.4GHz WiFi, because Bluetooth and WLAN share the same antenna and work in the same 2.4GHz frequency band, Bluetooth will be disturbed when WLAN transmits a large amount of data, resulting in unstable connection.

2. After the headset is paired, it is connected by other mobile phones first.

Solution

1. It is recommended that you turn off WLAN temporarily and re connect the Bluetooth headset.

2. Put the earphone into the charging box, double earphone out of the box, press and hold the earphone for 4 seconds in idle (non music and call mode) until the white breathing light flashes, the earphone enters the pairable state, and the mobile phone searches for the Bluetooth of the earphone and reconnects.

5.2.3 What is the effective transmission distance of Bluetooth and what will happen after exceeding?

1. The effective transmission distance of Bluetooth is about 10 meters without obstruction and interference.

5.2.4 Will the headset automatically disconnect when it is put into the charging box?

2. After the headset is put into the charging box, if you close the box cover, the headset and the mobile phone will be disconnected automatically after 5S.

5.2.5 Why didn't my headphones automatically reconnect after opening?

Problem

The cover of the charging box was opened, but it didn't connect with the mobile phone automatically

Cause of the problem

1. Due to the particularity of the Bluetooth headset, the electromagnetic wave in your area may interfere with the connection of Bluetooth. The headset may be silent or disconnected, and cannot be automatically reconnected.

2. The headset automatically reconnects to the last connected device by default. The last time your headset is connected is not this phone.

3. The mobile phone is far away from the headset, which exceeds the effective transmission distance (10m), or there are obstacles between the headset and the mobile phone.

4. The Bluetooth of the mobile phone is not turned on

Solution

1. Please make sure that your headset is in a strong interference environment, away from microwave oven and other objects with large electromagnetic interference.

2. If it's not the last time to connect, please connect again.

3. Put the phone and headset together and connect them again.

4. Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile phone.

If none of the above problems can be solved, please put the headset back into the charging box, close the box cover for 5S, open the box cover again and connect it again.

If none of the above problems can be solved, please try to restore the factory settings.

5.2.6 Can two earphones be used independently

1. When connecting, put two earphones in the charging box to connect with the mobile phone.

5.2.7 Can OPPO EncoAir earphones of different colors be used interchangeably/ Can OPPO EncoPlay earphones of different colors be used interchangeably

Earphones of different colors in the same model can be used interchangeably, such as OPPO EncoAir White left ear + black right ear / OPPO EncoPlay green left ear + white right ear. Put the left and right ears into the charging box, close the cover, and open the cover after 5 seconds to automatically form a pair of headphones. 5.2.8 Can the left and right earphones be connected to two different mobile phones

5.2.10 Unable to search and identify headphones

2. First of all, please make sure that the headset is fully charged (the indicator light of the charging box is on).

3. Turn on the charging box and the headset will automatically connect to the last paired mobile phone. If it cannot be connected for 10 seconds, it will automatically enter the pairing state. In addition, when the mobile phone is connected back, but the mobile phone actively disconnects, it can also enter the pairing state. Or take out the left and right earphones, and press them for 4 seconds after wearing. When you hear the pairing tone, you will enter the pairing state, and the indicator light of the charging box will turn to white breathing light. 5.2.12 Why is there no automatic return connection for the headset

If the headset is upgraded, the update software will be moved when the cover of the charging box is closed for 45 seconds. At this time, the case will not work normally when the case is taken out for 20 seconds (the phone will not work normally during the upgrade), and it will automatically return after 20s (if it is closed, it will not be connected back). OPPO EncoAir/Play headset adopts dual ear simultaneous interpreting mechanism, which is lower than traditional forwarding mechanism.

 

There are two main reasons for the delay

1. Some Player apps do not have audio and video synchronization function, such as potato, BiliBili, etc., which causes 200-300ms delay;

2. There are some problems in the production and release of individual small videos. The video itself has sound and picture out of sync. When there is such a problem, you can disconnect the headset and Play it out through the mobile phone to confirm whether there is a problem with the video itself.

Play delay:

1. The delay experience is related to mobile phones, games and headphones. If the demand for low delay is higher, it is recommended to use it with OPPO mobile phones. The minimum delay of full link transmission of some games can reach 94ms. As different games have different delay times, the actual experience of the game shall prevail;

2. With non OPPO mobile phones, in Huanlv app, switch the long press function to "game mode" and turn on "game mode", so that you can also enjoy the low delay transmission experience; Due to the characteristics of Bluetooth transmission, if the connection is stuck after "game mode" is turned on, please move away from WiFi signal source or turn off "game mode" to ensure more stable transmission;

5.2.18 OPPO EncoAir / Play, is there any difference between the left and right earphones

The left and right earphones of OPPO EncoAir and OPPO EncoPlay are distinguished by primary and secondary earphones. Specifically, the software system automatically switches the primary and secondary earphones through a series of algorithms.

5.3 Music Play / Game

5.3.1 Why can't I listen to music when headphones are connected properly

Problem:

There is no sound after the headphones are connected。

Cause of the problem:

1. Bluetooth is connected, but the "media audio" option of the mobile phone is not checked / turned on to display "no media".

2. The volume of mobile media is not turned on.

3. The volume of the earphone is too low.

Solution:

1. After connecting the headset with the mobile phone, click "Settings" - > "Bluetooth", find "OPPO EncoAir" or "OPPO EncoPlay" and click the icon on the right  to open "media audio".

2. Turn up the volume of mobile media before use.

3. Press the right headphone for a long time to increase the volume of the headphone end.

If none of the above can be solved, try to restore the factory setting or put the cover in the charging box for 30s before opening the cover.

5.3.2 Why is the headset connected but there is no sound or a carton

Problem

The headset has been connected to the mobile phone. There is no sound in the headset after wearing the headset.

Cause of the problem

1. Due to the particularity of Bluetooth headset, the electromagnetic wave in your area may interfere with Bluetooth connection, and there will be silent situation.

2. Please check the volume setting of the mobile phone / headset to see if it is not turned on and the volume / volume setting is too low.

3. When the mobile phone is connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time, the sound is emitted from the second device, and the first connected device has no sound。

 

Solution

1. Please make sure that your headset is in a strong interference environment, away from microwave oven and other objects with large electromagnetic interference.

2. turn on the volume of the phone end / increase the volume of the headphone end (press the right headphone for a long time, and the "beep" sound indicates the maximum volume of the headphone end).

3. Disconnect the connection, put the headset back into the charging box and close the cover for 5S, open the cover and reconnect with the mobile phone or disconnect the phone from the other Bluetooth device.

If none of the above is possible, try to restore the factory setting or put the cover in the charging box for 30s before opening the cover.

5.3.3 The earphone has been connected, why is the sound still playing out

Problem:

Headphones and mobile phones have been connected, but music, video, calls and other sounds are still played out.

Cause of the problem:

Bluetooth is connected, but "media audio" or "mobile audio" is not checked.

Solution:

After connecting the headset with the mobile phone, click "Settings" - > "Bluetooth", find "OPPO EncoAir" or "OPPO EncoPlay" and click the icon on the right to open "media audio" and "mobile audio".

5.3.4 Why is the sound of left and right ears different

Due to the particularity of Bluetooth headset, electromagnetic wave in your area may interfere with Bluetooth connection, and there is a difference in sound feeling between left and right ears. It is recommended that you pair up again. Please keep away from microwave oven, monitor and other objects with large electromagnetic interference when using.

5.3.5 Does the headset support AAC / SBC decoding

This product can support AAC / SBC decoding。

5.3.6 Train station, high-speed railway station, substation, airport or some environment, headset listen to music button

Under the strong interference environment, the RF performance of the headset is affected, which causes the headset to jam when listening to music. Bluetooth products all have this problem.

At present, there is no obvious difference in the anti-interference effect of the products in different environments. There is no problem in the office, coffee shop, home and other environment where the interference is not strong.

5.3.7 Double click the headset to always turn on the built-in music player

When the mobile phone is on the desktop, the headset gives the command to start playing. The mobile phone may start its own player by default instead of starting a third-party app. (this problem is related to the design of the mobile phone itself. Different mobile phones may perform differently. Non OPPO brand mobile phones may have other settings.) please open the music player you want to use.

5.3.8 There is no problem with the sound quality when listening to music, but it becomes worse when playing games

When listening to music, it starts A2DP protocol;

When playing the game, the Game App starts the HFP call protocol. When using the HPF protocol, the audio bandwidth is narrow and the sound quality is slightly poor;

5.3.9 Why is there no sound in one or two ears

Problem :

When talking, listening to music and listening to wechat voice, the single / double ears are silent.

Cause of the problem:

1. touch Bluetooth switch of mobile phone by mistake, and turn off Bluetooth at mobile phone end.

2. due to the particularity of Bluetooth headset, your area is in a strong electromagnetic interference environment, and there will be silent situation.

3. you are far away from your mobile phone and exceed the effective transmission distance of Bluetooth.

Solution:

1. check whether Bluetooth switch on the mobile phone is off. If it is off, please turn it on immediately, and then it can be restored.

2. please keep away from microwave oven, monitor and other objects with large electromagnetic interference when using.

3. please put the phone and headset together and try to reconnect. If it cannot be solved, please close the headset into the box for 5S and then reconnect the cover.

4. if the above method is still unable to be solved, if the 4S is heard by the long ear in non music and call mode, the phone will be paired again to recover the sound.

If none of the above is possible, try to restore the factory setting or put the cover in the charging box for 30s before opening the cover.

5.3.10 Turn on the absolute volume of the mobile phone, turn the volume of the Bluetooth headset to the minimum, turn off the absolute volume function, and the media will play silently

After the absolute volume function is turned off, if the media is silent, you can try to press the right earphone for a long time to turn up the earphone volume to the appropriate volume. The "beep" indicates that the earphone volume is adjusted to the maximum. Or disconnect Bluetooth and connect again. If the headset detects that the phone does not support absolute volume, it will turn up the sound of the headset.

5.3.11 The sound quality of listening to music is not good (official speech)

5.3.12 Listening to music doesn't feel like W31 (or other earphones)

OPPO EncoAir / Play is a semi in ear earphone, while W31 (or other in ear earphone) is an in ear earphone. The former has no silicone earmuff, so there will be a certain degree of Air leakage, and the bass will be weaker than the in ear earphone. The silicone cover of the in ear earphone is relatively soft, which can closely fit the ear canal, with less Air leakage, and the bass will be fuller. However, the sound quality of OPPO EncoAir / Play is also professionally tuned by OPPO. The overall listening feeling is transparent and clear, and the voice is clear; The sound field is wide and the sense of space is obvious.

5.3.13 How to deal with the big noise and current

1. Due to the particularity of Bluetooth headset, the electromagnetic wave in your area may interfere with the connection of Bluetooth, resulting in silent interruption. Please keep away from microwave oven, monitor and other objects with large electromagnetic interference

2. Because there are many high frequency signals and the characteristics of the circuit itself in the Bluetooth headset, there will be some background noise in the Bluetooth headset. Due to device differences, Bluetooth environment interference or packet loss, only a small number of earphones have obvious background noise. 5.3.14 Put the earphone into the charging box, but the display is still connected. The voice of the mobile phone cannot be played out

OPPO EncoAir/Play does not detect the wearing function. If the headset is put into the charging box, if the cover of the charging box is not available, the headset is still connected to the phone. If you listen to songs with your phone at this time, the sound will come out of the headset by default and will not be played from the speakers. The Bluetooth headset will not be disconnected until the headset is put into the charging box and the cover is closed.

5.4 Call / phone / voice assistant

5.4.1 How to use headphones to answer / end a call?

Get through:

1. When calling, you can answer the call by touching the left or right earphone or pressing the answer key on the mobile phone.

2. When you go to the phone, you can use the headset to make a call directly by wearing the headset. Or you can use the voice assistant to call a contact and enter the call state.

Hang up:

During a call, double touch the left or right headset to hang up, or press the hang up key on the mobile phone to hang up.

You can answer the phone while watching music or video. After the phone is hung up, it will automatically enter the music or video state.

5.4.2 Can anyone else hear me when I call

No. By default, the headset can only be connected to one device at a time, and there will be no crosstalk with other devices. Please feel free to use it.

5.4.3 The caller hears little sound / the surrounding noise is loud / the effect of the call is not as good as that of the unilateral Bluetooth headset

3. If the other party hears a small voice when making a phone call, please confirm whether only one headset is worn and the other headphone is not in the box. Try to put the other headset back to the ear to see if it can be solved;

5.4.4 After connecting the headset to the Apple phone, the voice is on the phone

Problem :

The headset has been connected. Slide the answer button on the mobile phone. The voice is transmitted through the mobile phone, and the headset is silent.

Cause of the problem:

When an Apple phone calls, you need to select the answer mode (phone or headset).

Solution:

When an Apple phone calls, you can double-click the headset to answer the call, or manually select the phone or headset to answer the call.

When the apple mobile phone is powered on, you can also choose whether to call through the mobile phone or the headset. If you don't choose, you can call through the headset by default.                                                  

5.4.5 Why do I receive calls from my mobile phone, sometimes from my mobile phone, sometimes from my headset

If you need to listen to the phone sound from the headset, it is recommended that you answer the phone directly through the headset

5.4.6 In video conference / wechat / QQ voice, turn on the voice assistant and play out the sound from the headset

When wechat / QQ voice is used, turn on the voice assistant and HFP protocol at the same time. HFP conflict results in the sound of earphone being played out. The same problem exists in the Air pods earphone, which cannot be improved at present.

5.4.7 How to deal with the microphone sound too small when joining the zoom meeting

Zoom conference is divided into mobile phone zoom and computer zoom. Computer zoom is divided into IOS computer zoom and windows computer zoom.

Cell phone zoom and IOS computer zoom use HFP protocol (Call Protocol), pick up from the microphone of the headset, if the sound is small, you need to check whether the microphone of the left and right ears is blocked or not.

Windows computer zoom uses A2DP protocol (Music protocol). It picks up sound from the computer microphone. If the sound is small, it needs to sound from the microphone close to the computer and check whether the microphone of the computer is abnormal.

5.4.8 Do you use headphones or cell phone microphones when recording video or audio

Different mobile phones and software have different settings when recording video and recording, depending on the specific scene you use.

When talking, listening to music, sending voice messages and video / voice calls through wechat, the microphone of the headset is used. When recording video and recording, the microphone of the mobile phone may be used.

You can test it in the following ways:

After the headset is connected to the mobile phone, turn on the recording software, and wear the headset to leave the mobile phone for a certain distance (about 3-5 meters) before recording. 5.5 Wear related

5.5.1 Does it support wear detection?

OPPO EncoAir / Play headset does not support wear detection.

5.5.2 Why doesn't the music play automatically after wearing the earphone? When you take off the earphone, the music won't stop playing automatically

The OPPO EncoAir / Play headset does not support the wear / in ear detection function, so it will not automatically pause / Play music according to the wearing status.

5.5.3 Why is the music still playing when the earphone is in your hand / pocket

Problem:

The earphone has been removed, and the music in the earphone is still playing.

The music has been suspended before taking off the earphone. The music will play automatically after taking off the earphone.

Cause of the problem:

The OPPO EncoAir / Play headset does not support the wear / in ear detection function, so it will not automatically pause / Play music according to the wearing status. When the headphones are removed, the playing function of the headphones may be triggered by touching the touch area in the center of the headphones by mistake.

Solution:

It is recommended that when you only use one headset, store the other one in the charging box, which can charge the headset.

5.5.4 Why do concerts sometimes pause / play automatically?

Problem :

5.5.5 Does the headset have adverse effects after wearing for a long time

The power of the headset is very small, and there will be no heating. Please use it at ease. The headset is designed with semi-ear style, which can fit the ear shape of most groups. However, due to the absence of ear plug adjustment, the hard plastic shell directly contacts the ears. It will feel tired and may have a little pain when wearing for a long time. For a few special ear users, pain or instability may occur earlier. It is suggested to adjust the wearing according to the specific situation.

The volume of headphones should not be too large. If you use it for a long time, it will make your hearing and auditory canal nervous fatigue, and it will easily make your ears feel pain and acid swelling. It is recommended that you turn down the volume (press the left headphone / mobile phone end volume button to turn down the volume), and after every 2 hours, you can remove the headset to give the ear a relaxing or massage.

Earphone products and close clothing have similar functions. They are directly exposed to the skin of ear canal. The contact environment is relatively closed and humid, which is easy to cause inflammation caused by bacteria. It is recommended that you wipe and disinfect the ear canal with alcohol cotton after wearing for a period of time to keep the ear canal healthy and sanitary.

5.5.6 Can earphone wear long make ear very painful

The ear bar can be slightly rotated to change the wearing angle and find the suitable wearing position, which will improve the comfort. At the same time, it is recommended that you take off the earphone every 2 hours to give your ears a relaxing or kneading massage.
