OPPO A54 Won't Turn On or Has a Black or Frozen Screen
Is your phone already lagging after few games? Did the screen freeze when you switched applications or is your OPPO A54 won't turn on? If all of these happened to your phone, here are the troubleshooting steps you can do to solve your problem. Read on!

OPPO A54 Won't Turn On or Has a Black or Frozen Screen
Force restart your OPPO A54.
To force restart: Press and hold for at least eight (8) seconds the [Power] button and the [Volume Up] at the same time until you see the OPPO logo.
If your OPPO A54 has a protective case, remove it.
The phone case might be the cause why your screen is turning black. Your phone case might not fit on your phone and blocking all the sensors.
Move your phone to a cold place.
Get your OPPO A54 to a colder place once the screen turned black or froze because it can get warm quickly.
Charge your phone.
Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes and try to restart it afterward.
Enter Recovery Mode.
To enter the recovery mode on your OPPO A54: Press and hold the [Power] button and the [Volume Down] button at the same time for at least eight (8) seconds until the phone enters the recovery mode.
If the screen turns on after, tap [Reboot], then reset the system settings.
Wipe the Data.
If you're stuck in Recovery Mode after the screen is on after the reboot, you need to wipe the data in recovery mode.
To wipe the data: Tap [Wipe data] and key in your lock screen password (if required). Then tap [Wipe data (Keep SMS, Contacts, and Photos)] and tap [OK]. Once done, tap [OK] and reboot your phone.
Note: This method will remove all your applications, excluding your SMS, contacts, and photos.
Start the recovery software update with an SD card.
First, download the latest firmware of your device and perform a recovery software update with the SD card. Then you may reboot your phone again.
