2. Check your SIM card.

One of the reasons why this occurs to you is either your SIM card is damaged or disabled.

You need to turn off your OPPO A54 and remove your SIM card using the ejector tool and check if your SIM fits right into the slot or if broken.

3. Clean your SIM slot.

The SIM slot can get dusty too. If you see any dirt or dust, gently wipe it off or use compressed air to remove it.

4. Use another SIM card.

If you have an extra SIM card with you, try to insert it into the slot and see if it works. If it worked, it implies that the old SIM  you're using is faulty. However, if it did not work, the fault is in the software of your phone.

5. Turn on Airplane Mode.

There are two ways on how you can turn on the Airplane Mode.

  • Through the control center: Swipe down the [Control center] from the top and tap [Airplane mode].

  • Through settings: Go to [Settings] > toggle [Airplane mode].

After turning it on, wait at least 30 seconds and turn off the Airplane mode.

6. Enable your SIM card.

  • To enable your SIM card: On your home screen, go to [Tools] > [Phone Manager] > [Clean Up Storage].

7. Clear the storage cache.

  • To clear the cache: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [App list] > [SIM Card Apps] > [Storage usage] > [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
