Why Can't I Use VoNR on My OPPO Phone
The Vo5G, also known as VoNR, utilizes the 5G technology to enhance the voice calling quality, speed up call connection times, and provide overall call performance. However, certain users might still find themselves unable to access this functionality due to factors like device compatibility or incorrect setting configuration. To resolve this issue, please follow our guide outlined below.
Fixes for VoNR Connectivity Issue
Verify the VoNR Service with your operator
Consult with your operator to determine if the VoNR network is available, and check whether your SIM card has been activated for VoNR services.
Change the network mode
Manually select the SA standalone networking mode in the Developer options (this applies only to supported devices):
Go to [Settings] > [Developer Options] > [5G Network Mode Selection] and select [NSA+SA] or [SA].
Update the system and software
Ensure that your OPPO phone is updated to the most current system version.
Other options
If VoNR is unavailable at the moment, you can utilize the following methods for making calls temporarily:
Switch back to 4G VoLTE: Turn off the 5G network: Go to [Settings] > [Mobile Network] > [SIM Card Information and Settings] > toggle [Enable 5G] to switch off, and you can use 4G network VoLTE high-definition calls (if supported by your operator).
If the abovementioned steps do not fix your concern, prepare your warranty card and contact your nearest OPPO Customer Service. You can also contact OPPO Support so we can help and assist you further with your concern. Depending on your region, you may check if you need to book an appointment before visiting your local Service Center.
