What to Do If Unable to Use OPPO’s Video Player?

Situation: You are unable to play a video when using OPPO's Video Player.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

1. Restart your phone and check if the phone still lags.

2. Use third-party video player like MX Player to play the video to check if the video file is damaged.

3. If the video file is not damaged, clear the cache and data of the Video Player in [Settings] > [App Management] > [Show System Process] > [Video] > [Storage Usage] > [Clear Cache] > [Clear Data].

*In some devices, you may need to go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [App management] > [All] > [Video] > [Storage Usage] > [Clear Cache] > [Clear Data].

4. Wipe the cache partition on the phone in  [Phone Manager] > [Clean Up Storage] > [Clear All].

5. Go to [Settings] > [Software Updates] to check for and update your phone's software to the latest version.

If the issue persists, contact OPPO Support Team, or take your phone, proof of purchase and warranty card to a nearby OPPO Customer Service Center for further assistance.
