Being connected to the internet helps us to communicate with our friends and loved ones. We can also search for things we needed quickly or just surf and stream videos all day. But if you can't access the internet after you connect it to the Wi-Fi, you can check the Wi-Fi status or reset the settings so you can fix the issue. Learn below for a more easy guide on how you can fix it.

Make sure the Wi-Fi signal is of sufficient strength

Check the Wi-Fi signal on the status bar. The more bars, the stronger the signal. If you're too far from your router, you can't get a signal, so make sure that you're within range.

Check if the Wi-Fi connection is overloaded

If too many devices connect to the same router, it will put much pressure on the router and lead to difficulty accessing the Internet after Wi-Fi is connected. You can set a static IP for every device connecting the router and try again.

Make sure that you have logged in to the Wi-Fi network

When connecting to a public Wi-Fi network, your phone will prompt you with a notification telling you to open the network's sign-in page. Fill in the username and/or password, then you can get your Wi-Fi connection working. To manually access the Wi-Fi login page, open up the browser and try to load up a webpage. This will automatically redirect you to the network's login page.

Reset Wi-Fi settings

To reset the Wi-Fi or Wireless Settings, read this article Clear Cache and Cookies in OPPO Phone and look for the app Wireless Settings. If it's not showing, tap on the [Three-dotted] icon and select [Show system].

Restart and update the phone

Restart the phone, and make sure you have the latest software version.

Connect to the Wi-Fi network on other devices

If you're connected to a Wi-Fi network but you can't get online, try to use your Wi-Fi network on other devices.

If you can't get online using your other devices, there might be a service issue or service not available.

Reset the router

Completely turn off the power of the router, then after several minutes, you can try to reset the router. Check if the network is working.
