What to Do for the Line App Notification Issues?
You only found out that you have a message on the Line app when you opened it. There was no notification on the lock screen or no alert tone at all. You may need to check the notification setting and that of the ringtone. Check here for the easy step-by-step guide.
Situation: You are unable to receive notification that you have received a message or there's no alert tone at all.
Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.
Scenario 1: No notification on the lock screen when receiving a message.
To display a notification when receiving a Line message, kindly do the following on your OPPO device:
Go to [Settings] > [Notification & Status Bar] > then toggle [Allow Notification Bar in Lockscreen].
On the LINE settings:
1. Go to the Friends or More tab and tap Settings.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. At the top of the screen, make sure that the box next to Notifications is checked, and that Notification setting is turned ON.
4. Tap Message notifications.
5. Make sure the following settings are enabled (you will be redirected to your phone's setting):
• Allow Notifications.
• Display at the top of the screen.

Scenario 2: No alert tone when receiving a message.
To hear an alert tone when receiving a Line message, kindly do the following on your device.
Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > look for the Line app > [Manage Notifications] > [Message Notitications] > [Ringtone] > customize or choose the alert tone you want.
On the LINE settings:
1. Go to the Friends or More tab and tap Settings.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. At the top of the screen, make sure that the box next to Notifications is checked, and that the Notification setting is turned ON.
4. Tap Message notifications.
5. Make sure to check the following settings (you will be redirected to your phone's setting):
• Tap on Ringtone and customize or choose the alert tone you want.
