What Is the Super Power Saving Mode on OPPO Phone

Note: Super Power Saving Mode is available only for ColorOS 7.2 and above devices. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
What is Super Power Saving Mode
In a nutshell, it's *5% battery = 1-hour phone call. Yes, you read it right. Under Super Power Saving Mode, a series of power-saving mechanisms and strategies, such as CPU frequency scaling (conserves energy by slowing the processor) and screen brightness adjustment, are used. At the same time, it adopts targeted power-saving strategies for specific apps to save battery.
How to Enable the Super Power Saving Mode
There are two ways you can enable the Super Power Saving mode. Follow the paths below.
Method 1: Settings
For ColorOS 16 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Battery] and turn on [Super power saving mode].
For ColorOS 15: Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [Battery mode] and select [Super power saving mode].
For ColorOS 13 to ColorOS 14: Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > [Power saving mode] and toggle [Super power saving mode] to enable, then read the disclaimer and tap [Turn on].
For ColorOS 7.2 to ColorOS 12: Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > toggle [Super power saving mode] to enable, then read the disclaimer and tap [Turn on].
Method 2: Control Center
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Control Center.
Then, tap on the [
Super power saving mode] icon.
If you are unable to see the Super power saving mode icon, tap the [
Edit] icon on the upper-right corner, then hold and drag the icon from the bottom section upward.
For ColorOS 13 and above: Swipe down to open the Control Center and press and hold the [Power saving mode] icon and you will be redirected to the Settings. Tap [Power saving mode] > toggle [Super power saving mode] to enable, then tap [Turn on].
Note: Once the Super power saving mode is enabled, your phone will automatically be in Dark Mode, and 3 suggested applications are added.
What is the Battery Duration for Super Power Saving Mode
Once you enable the Super power saving mode, the duration for which the battery could last is also shown. *The image below has a 19% battery.
It is important to know that when Super Power Saving mode is enabled, you can only use 6 applications as mentioned above. You can also choose the applications you wish to use when in Super Power Saving mode.
To add an app: Tap [Add] on the screen and choose the app you wish to use.
To remove an app: Press and hold an app, then select the app you wish to remove, and tap [Remove].
How to Exit Super Power Saving Mode
Simply tap the [ Exit] icon in the upper left corner, then tap [Exit Super saving mode].
Notes:
The displayed remaining battery power may vary from device to device.
To ensure accuracy in testing, 5% battery is defined as the equivalent of 5% of a 4000mAh battery, for example, 200mAh. The 2% power consumption can support standby for 8 hours at night.
