What is Super Power Saving Mode
Is your phone's battery really low and you are so far from your home that you can't even charge your device? You don't have to worry with your OPPO devices as with the ColorOS 7.2 update OPPO provides Super Power Saving mode in the device so you can use your devices for a few hours with a really low battery. Super Power Saving mode disables all the extra functions so your device can run for hours with a few per cent battery. What is Super Power Saving Mode
The Super Power Saving introduces a battery-saving mechanism that allows you to use your device in critical situations when the battery is extremely low. Only 5% of the charge can give you a talk time of approx. 70 minutes, 49 minutes of SMS, 30 minutes of Google Maps. In Super Power Saving Mode, 6 apps can be used, among which Phone, Messages, & Browser are the default apps and can be changed, the remaining 3 can be selected by the user. This uses multiple power mechanisms such as adjusting the CPU frequency and adjusting the brightness levels. At the same time, it adopts targeted power-saving strategies for specific apps to save battery.
How to Enable Super Power Saving Mode
You will be reminded of a pop-up window when the battery reaches 10% & 5%. You can also manually enable the power saving mode by following the below guide:
For ColorOS 13 and above:
Go to [Settings]> Tap on [Battery] > Select [Power Saving Mode] > Enable [Super Power Saving Mode].
For ColorOS 7.2 to ColorOS 12.1:
Go to [Settings] > [Battery] > Enable [Super power saving mode].
How to Exit And Add Apps in Super Power Saving Mode
After enabled, dark mode will be enabled and you will get a screen with the 6 apps and the estimated remaining time will be shown, You can add apps by tapping [Add] and To disable the Super Power Saving Mode, tap [] the and then [Exit Super Power Saving Mode]. Super Power Saving Mode’s standby time stimulates six applications selected and running in Super Power Saving Mode. Individual application's standby times assume no other apps are selected and/or running in Super Power Saving Mode. The displayed remaining battery power may vary from device to device.
