Maximizing Battery Life with Super Power Saving Mode on OPPO A74 5G
The latest OPPO devices are equipped with a new super power-saving mode that utilizes various battery-saving mechanisms. These mechanisms include adjusting the CPU frequency and screen brightness, as well as employing targeted power-saving strategies for specific apps to extend battery life. This feature is particularly handy in critical situations when the battery is extremely low. In Super Power Saving Mode, users can access 6 apps, with Phone, Messages, and Browser set as default and the option to change them, allowing the user to select the remaining 3 apps. What is Super Power-Saving Mode
Super Power Saving introduces a battery-saving mechanism that allows you to use your device in critical situations when the battery is deficient.
Only 5% of the charge can give you a talk time of approx. 70 minutes, 49 minutes of SMS, 30 minutes of Google Maps.
In Super Power Saving Mode, 6 apps can be used, among which Phone, Messages, & Browser are the default apps and can be changed, the user can select the remaining 3. This uses multiple power mechanisms such as adjusting the CPU frequency and brightness levels.
At the same time, it adopts targeted power-saving strategies for specific apps to save battery.
How to Enable Super Power-Saving Mode
By default, you will be reminded by a pop-up window to enable super power-saving mode when the battery reaches 10% and 5%. If you want to enable super power-saving mode manually, follow the steps below:
For ColorOS 13 and above:
Go to [Settings] > Tap [Battery] > Tap [Power Saving mode] > Enable [Super Power Saving Mode].
For ColorOS 11 and 12:
Go to [Settings] > Tap [Battery] > Enable [Super Power Saving Mode]. Once enabled, you will be able to see the 3 applications already added. You can add the remaining 3 applications of your choice by tapping the [+] icon. The estimated remaining time will be also displayed on the bottom screen.
Alternatively, you can also enable it by opening [Status Bar] by swiping down from the top of the screen > Tap [Super Saving Mode] to enable. If you are unable to see the Super Power Saving Mode icon, then tap Icon. then hold and drag the [Edit icon] to the control center menu.
How to Disable Super Power-Saving Mode
To disable the Super Power Saving Mode, tap the [
] and then [Exit Super Power Saving Mode].
