What is the File Dock Feature on OPPO Phone

The File Dock feature helps to analyze information and extracts data like links, images, and texts in a simple drag-and-drop motion, and all these gathered data can be shared or combined and saved as a note. Note: Available for ColorOS 14 & above only. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
How File Dock works
File Dock can be found in the floating window or the Smart Sidebar. This feature works when users drag and drop content from the dock to system applications, such as Mail and Browser.
How to enable File Dock
For ColorOS 15 and above
Go to [Settings] > [Accessibility & convenience] > [Smart Sidebar] > [File Dock] and ensure that the File Dock function is on.
For ColorOS 14
Go to [Settings] > [Special Features] > [Smart Sidebar] > [File Dock] and ensure that the File Dock function is on.
First, select content such as text, pictures, or files, then press and hold until the content floats, and then drag it to the floating window of the File Dock.
Open other apps, find the floating bar of the Smart Sidebar on the screen, swipe in to expand the Smart Sidebar, tap on the File Dock, and drag the required content to the app for editing, saving, or sharing.
