Kids Space is a parental control feature available on OPPO phones with ColorOS 3.1 and above. It helps parents manage their childās phone usage by offering the following features:
Controlled App Access: Limit which apps your kids can access.
Usage Time Management: Set the duration for which your child can use the phone.
Data Control: Choose whether cellular data can be used during Kids Space.
Prevention Features: Prevent system modifications, unauthorized in-app purchases, and excessive usage to protect your child and promote healthier device habits.
How to Set Up Kids Space
To ensure compatibility, confirm your ColorOS version by navigating to [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
Follow these steps to enable Kids Space:
Note: You need to enable a Lock Screen passcode before entering Kids Space.
Open [Settings] > [Security] > [Kids Space].
Select the apps you want your child to access.
Set the allowed usage duration for the phone.
Choose whether to allow cellular data usage.
Tap Enter Kids Space to activate the mode.
Parents can further tailor Kids Space to their needs:
Set specific daily limits to prevent overuse. When the duration of time you set ends, your phone will alert you and lock the screen after 30 seconds, or you can quit Kid Space at any time by tapping at the bottom of the screen. Input your fingerprint or Lock Screen passcode to return to the normal mode.
Restrict in-app purchases to avoid unwanted charges.
Disable access to system settings to prevent accidental changes.
