Collect all your favorite games in one convenient location with Game Space on OPPO phones. Game Space not only organizes your game apps, keeping them from cluttering your home screen, but it also optimizes game performance, manages incoming calls and notifications, adjusts brightness, and offers additional features.


Note: Available only for ColorOS 5.1 and above devices. Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].


How to Add Games in Game Space

For ColorOS 11 and above: 

1. Go to [Game Space].

2. Tap on the [+].

3. Select a game you want, then toggle the button to green to add to your [Game Space]. 

  • Alternatively, go to [Settings] > [Game Space] > [Manage my games] > [Add More Games], then toggle to green the game that you want to transfer to Game Space.


How to Remove or Uninstall Games from Game Space

For ColorOS 11 and above

  1. Go to [Game Space].

  2. Tap and hold the application you want to delete/uninstall.

  3. Tap on the [Uninstall/Delete] icon represented by a trashbin,

  4. Tap [Uninstall].

  • In other OPPO devices: Tap and hold the game that you want to delete > tap [Delete].

* You can only remove one game at a time from the Game Space app.


Complete Guide to Game Space Settings

1. Manage My Games: When you want to add or remove games on Game Space.

2. Game Assistant: This will enable the Game Space's exclusive toolbar, which can be called from the side when you are playing games.

  • To enable Game Assistant, go to [Settings] > [Game Space] > and toggle [Game Assistant] to green.

  • For ColorOS 11 and above: Go to [Game Space] > tap the [two-dot] icon on the upper right > [Settings], then toggle [Game Assistant] to green to enable it.

3. Game Space on your Home Screen: On ColorOS 5.1 to ColorOS 6.1 devices, you can choose to show or hide the Game Space icon on the home screen.

  • Go to [Settings] > [Game Space] > [Game Space on Homescreen] > and toggle on/off [Disable Game Space on Home Screen]. Disabling Game Space on the home screen means the Game Space app will not show up anymore on the home screen. * This option is not available in ColorOS 7.0 and above devices.

4. Hide Game's Icon on Home: Icons for added games will not show anymore on the home screen.

  • On ColorOS 11 and above: Go to [Game Space] > tap the two-dot icon on the upper right > [Settings] > toggle the [Hide game icons on Home screen] to green to enable this feature.

5. Game Engine Supported: The phone will smartly auto-detect if a game can be supported by Game Engine. This improves gaming performance through custom optimization of both the game and your phone. A game with the icon means it is supported by Game Engine.


Game Space Settings Shortcut

For a quick shortcut to Game Space settings, tap the [Settings] icon on the top-right corner of the Game Space app. 

  • For ColorOS 7.0 and above, tap the 2-dots icon on the top-right corner > [Settings].


Features of Game Space 2.0

  • Battery: Show your phone's battery life.

  • Signal Strength: Show the signal strength of the network you are connected to.

  • Performance Mode: Tap the icon to show modes.

    1. Competitive Mode – Improves performance/frame rate/responsiveness, but power consumption is higher.

    2. Balanced Mode – Balances performance and power consumption.

    3. Lower Power Consumption Mode – Lower game image quality for longer gaming duration.

  • Manage Calls, Messages, & Notifications: Tap the icon to manage the calls, messages, and notifications while playing.

    1. Block Notifications – Block any kind of notifications.

    2. Reject Calls – No calls will disturb you when playing.

    3. Block Calls and Banners – Ignore calls and banners during gaming.

    4. Allow Calls and Notifications – Receive incoming calls and show banner notifications during gaming sessions.

  • Smart Dual-Channel Network: Use the 4G network to reduce Wi-Fi latency.

  • Brightness lock: You can lock the brightness of the phone while playing. When not locked, the brightness will be set in the settings. This can be done by going to the Game Space app on the home screen, toggling on [Brightness Lock].

  • Automatically adjust the resolution: Automatically adjust the screen resolution to save power.
