What to Do If Game Space is Missing from My OPPO Phone
OPPO Game Space is a special feature of OPPO phones that allows you to organize mobile games and optimize them while you're playing. However, there can be some instances wherein this application might go missing. And it might be because you've accidentally deleted it from your OPPO smartphone. Worry not because you can easily fix this issue by simply reinstalling this application again. For a more detailed explanation, continue reading the simple guide we created below.
How to Restore Game Space on Your OPPO Phone
If the Game Space app on your OPPO phone has disappeared or was accidentally deleted, there are ways to restore it—depending on your device’s software version. Before starting the troubleshooting steps, please check your ColorOS version by going to: [Settings] > [About Device] / [About Phone]. Once you’ve identified your version, follow the corresponding solution below:
For ColorOS 11.3 and above:
Open the Google Play Store > Search for “OPPO Games” > Download and install the app. This app provides similar features for gaming performance optimization and organization.
For ColorOS 11.0 to 11.2:
You have two options for restoring Game Space.
Option 1: Reinstall Game Space via the App Market
Go to: [Settings] > [App Management] > [Recover Uninstalled System Apps] > Select Game Space from the list to reinstall.
Option 2: Restore the Icon (if Game Space is installed but the icon is missing)
Go to: [Settings] > [App Management] > [App List] > [System Launcher] > [Storage Usage] > Tap [Clear Data] to refresh the app icons, which may restore the Game Space icon on your home screen.
For ColorOS 5 to ColorOS 7:
If your OPPO phone is running ColorOS 5 to ColorOS 7 the Game Space app cannot be reinstalled directly from the app market. Instead, you’ll need to contact OPPO Support for help.
Check if Game Space is visible
Go to [Settings] > [Game Space]. If yes, tap [Game Space] > [Home Screen Shortcut] / [Game Space on Homescreen] and toggle off [Disable Game Space on Home Screen].
Check Game Space in App Drawer Mode
Check if App Drawer Mode is enabled by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. If yes, hold and drag the Game Space app from App Drawer to copy to the home screen.
Note: This step is only applicable for ColorOS 6.0 and above.
Check if Game Space is hidden in App Encryption
Go to [Settings] > [Security] / [Privacy] > [App Encryption] / [App Lock] > Enter the privacy password you set > [Game Space] > Toggle off [Hide Home Screen Icons] / [Hide from Home Screen].
