Google Contacts has duplicate contacts suggestions feature that automatically detects your matching contacts, either their names, numbers, or email addresses.
You may follow the simple steps below on how to do the Merge and fix in your contacts.
1. You may go to the [Contact] application and tap the [Organise].
2. Then tap the [Merge & Fix], under this you may tap the [Suggestions] for the duplicate contacts. But if this option did not show on your end, you don't have any contacts to merge with.
3. If you wish to merge only one contact suggestion you may tap [Merge].
4. If you want to merge all the duplicate contact suggestions, you may tap the [Merge all].
