Use the Mobile Data Network of Your OPPO Phone
If you're traveling and find yourself without a Wi-Fi connection, you can rely on your OPPO phone's mobile data network, provided you have a strong signal and sufficient credits. This functionality allows you to stay connected and browse the Internet while you're on the go. For detailed instructions on how to use your OPPO phone's mobile data network, check out the article below.
Note: Check your phone's ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].
Mobile Data on OPPO phone
Mobile data networks include GSM, CDMA, and LTE networks. If a Wi-Fi network is unavailable, you can use a mobile data network to connect to the Internet. Browse the following information to learn about the mobile data network capabilities and features.
How to Turn On Mobile Data
Go to [Settings] > [Mobile Network] / [Dual SIM & Cellular] / [SIM card & mobile data] / [Dual SIM & mobile network]. Under GENERAL SETTINGS, toggle to enable the [Mobile data] for network connection.
Alternatively, you can swipe down on your home screen to the Control center and tap [
Mobile data]. If you're unable to see the Mobile Data icon, see How to Rearrange Control Center Icons.
Data Roaming

To turn on the data roaming: Go to [Settings] > [Mobile Network] / [Dual SIM & Cellular] / [SIM card & mobile data] / [Dual SIM & mobile network], choose a SIM card and toggle [Data Roaming] to enable. Then connect to the internet using another operator or bridging your operator.
Note: Data roaming charges fees. Contact your wireless operator for more tariff information. To avoid high data roaming charges, you are recommended to turn off data roaming when not necessary. See How to Use Mobile Data and Data Roaming When Traveling.

Notes:
Using a mobile data network for internet connection charges fees. You can consult the operator for the charging standard or shop data plans. If you exceed the data plan, you will be charged extra fees.
Mobile data might only be available in some locations, and network speed and connectivity might vary depending on your location. Check the operator's network coverage in your area for availability.
When using a mobile data network that doesn't support simultaneous voice and data, incoming or outgoing calls will interrupt mobile data transfers until the call ends. This doesn't affect Wi-Fi network connectivity.
The settings path to access the SIM card options is different for other ColorOS versions.
