Can't Use the Mobile Data Network on OPPO A54

With the absence of a Wi-Fi network, the mobile data connection on your OPPO phone saves us through the day. Depending on your plan with your mobile operator, you can update and connect with your loved ones using the data on your phone.  But what if it doesn't work as well? Check out below the steps to solve your problem with your mobile data network. 

Applicable to: OPPO A54.

Can't Use the Mobile Data Network on OPPO A54.

1. Check the signal of your OPPO A54. If you see that your phone's signal fluctuates, try to move to a different location and try again. 

2. Activate the Airplane Mode of your OPPO A54.

• To turn on/off the Airplane Mode: Pull down the control center and tap [Airplane mode ]. Or you can go to [Settings] > toggle [Airplane mode] to turn on and off. 

3. Give a call to your mobile operator. Check if your plan with them is still active or has an ongoing upgrade or if you still have sufficient balance for mobile data. 

4. Check your SIM Card. Using the ejector tool that comes with your OPPO A54, take out the SIM card you're using and re-insert it again and check if it has a connection. 

5. Reset the access point of your SIM card.

• To reset the access point: Go to [Settings] > [SIM card & mobile data] > tap the SIM card you're using > [Access point names] and at the top right corner, tap the [two-dot] icon, then tap [Reset access points]. 

6. Restart your OPPO A54. 

• To *restart your OPPO A54: You only need to press and hold simultaneously the [Power] button and the [Volume Up] for at least eight (8) seconds or until you see the OPPO logo. 

7. Update your Software. Check if your OPPO A54 has a software update by going to the [Settings] > [Software update]. 

8. Reset your OPPO A54 to factory settings.

• To factory reset your OPPO A54: Go to [Settings] > [Additional settings] > [Back up and reset] > [Erase all data (factory reset)].

Note: 

• *Resetting your OPPO A54 to factory settings will erase all your data. Make sure to back up all your files before resetting. 
  

• If you have tried the measures above and it doesn't work, we advise you to go to your nearest OPPO Customer Service Center along with your phone, proof of purchase, and your warranty card for further assistance.
