OPPO O-Free Wireless Earphone in Australia

This is an intelligent, hassle-free, and wireless headset that will make listening to music, answering calls, and smart-recognizing the use - all with ease. Check on how to connect and disconnect it on your device. How to use OPPO O-Free

For the first time user:

  • On your phone. Enable Bluetooth on your handset, go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] > Toggle [Bluetooth] to enable.

  • On your OPPO O-Free. Open the case of your OPPO O-Free. Make sure that your OPPO O-Free is fully charged or has enough charge.


How to Connect OPPO O-Free to your Phone:

1. After opening the OPPO O-Free headset case, your phone will prompt you that it is ā€œNot your OPPO O-Freeā€ and that it has never been connected before, tap [Connect]. Make sure that the headsets are still inside the casing if it's the first time that you will connect or pair it.

2. Hold down the button in the Headset case until you will see that it says connecting on the phone.

3. Once connected, it will show the battery level of the left and right headsets as well as the battery level of the headset casing. You can now take out the headsets from the casing and use them.

4. You can check on your Bluetooth setting if your phone has successfully connected to OPPO O-Free. Go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] and then check on the paired devices.

For users who have done pairing:

  • On your phone. Enable Bluetooth on your handset, go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] > Toggle [Bluetooth] to enable.

  • On your OPPO O-Free. Open the case of your phone. Make sure that your OPPO O-Free is fully charged or has enough charging. Headsets will automatically restore connection on your phone regardless if it is inside or outside the casing. 



To disconnect OPPO O-Free:

  • When you remove both headsets at the same time.

  • When you close the casings and both headsets are still in place inside.

  • When you manually disconnect it. To manually disconnect it, go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] > [OPPO O-Free] then tap Disconnect.

Functions of OPPO O-Free:

  • Double-tap. Double-tap the touch area of the left/ and right headset side to switch to the previous/next music, or start/end voice input when in the Headset Translation Mode.

  • Touch and Hold. Touch and hold the touch area on the left and right of the headset to wake up the voice assistant.

  • Intelligently determine if you are wearing it. The headset will pause playback when you remove one side of the headset from your ear and will resume playback when you put it back. It will temporarily disconnect from your phone when you remove both sides at the same time and automatically restores the connection when you put them back on.

Manage OPPO O-Free on the phone.

Go to [Settings] > [Bluetooth] then tap and start managing the settings of your OPPO O-Free.

  • Change the Device Name. Tap Device Name and you change the name of your OPPO O-Free.

  • Unpair. To stop the automatic connection, click Unpair.

  • Manage the uses. Go to ā€œUse forā€. You can choose if you only want to use certain functions of the OPPO O-Free.

Other information about OPPO O-Free Headset:

  • Charging time – one hour.

  • Talk time – 2 hours and 40 minutes.

  • Music time – 3 hours and 40 minutes.

  • Standby time – 24 hours.

 

Light indicators:

Green  Red      
When only the headset casing is charging and has above 95% battery. When only the headset casing is charging & the battery is below 95%.
When headsets are inside & not charging and have above 95% battery. When headsets are inside & not charging and have below 95% battery.
When headsets are not inside & have above 45% battery. When headsets are not inside & have below 45% battery.
When connecting or pairing to a phone.  

 

Note: Only Find X has all these features. Some OPPO handsets that pair with OPPO O-Free can only enjoy the listening to music function.


  •  Bluetooth should always be enabled for OPPO O-Free to work and be connected to your phone.
