OPPO Battery Life: Tips on How to Make It Last All Day
At OPPO, our goal is to provide our customers with smartphones that have long-lasting performance and great battery life. However, as time passes, the phone's battery life will reduce, and the user needs to cooperate in optimizing the battery usage to save power and ultimately extend the battery life. We understand that this may not be an easy task, but with some tips on how to save battery life and make the battery last longer, you can continue to enjoy using your phone for an extended period. These tips are especially useful for older models like OPPO A73 and OPPO A57. So, keep reading to learn more!

Additional information: OPPO only uses a Lithium-ion battery. This is lightweight with high energy density power sources. It also has good plasticity and is the safest and best.
Battery life vs. battery lifespan
Battery life - The amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged.
Battery lifespan - The amount of time your battery lasts until it needs to be replaced.
How to increase mobile battery life
1. Use OPPO original accessories - Lithium-ion is a smart battery that only fully charges or reaches its maximum lifespan if the original power adapter and USB Cable are used.
2. Use at a suitable temperature - OPPO smartphone battery is designed to have a good performance in a wide range of ambient temperatures, with 16° C to 25° C (61° F to 77° F) as the ideal comfort zone. Avoid exposing your device to ambient temperatures above 35° C (95° F), which may lead to battery degradation. In contrast, at lower temperatures, the battery's internal resistance may increase, resulting in slower charging and, thus, longer charging times. You may notice a decreased battery life when using your device in a very cold environment, but this condition is temporary. Once the battery's temperature returns to its normal operating range, its performance will also return to normal.
3. Make sure to charge the phone when the battery level drops to 10% - If the phone's battery is fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which will cause it to be slightly damaged.
4. Ensure the battery is half-charged when you store the phone for a long time. Suppose you want to store your device for the long term. In that case, two key factors that will affect the overall health of your battery are 1) the environmental temperature and 2) the percentage of charge on the battery when it is powered down for storage. Therefore, we recommend the following:
Do not fully charge or discharge your device's battery - charge it to around 50%.
If you store a device when its battery is fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, rendering it incapable of holding a charge.
If you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.
Power down the device to avoid additional battery use.
Place your device in a cool, moisture-free environment less than 32° C(90° F). If you plan to store your device for over six months, charge it to 50% monthly.
