6 Ways to Extend Your OPPO Phone's Battery Life
Smartphones have long become a part of our everyday lives. It works hard to keep us entertained during dull moments. Sometimes too hard that it takes a toll on the battery. Follow the tips below to maintain your OPPO device's battery life for peak performance.
Tips to Extend OPPO's Battery Life
Change the Display settings
High phone screen brightness can lead to rapid battery depletion. Adjust your phone's screen brightness in [Settings] > [Display & Brightness]. Alternatively, swipe down from the top to open the Control Center and adjust the slider of the screen brightness accordingly.
Disable Features When Not In Use
Switching off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location services when they aren't needed can help extend your device's battery life.
Activate Airplane Mode in Areas With Weak Signal
If you find yourself in a location with poor or no signal, either turn off your device or enable Airplane mode. Otherwise, your device will constantly search for networks, leading to higher power consumption.
Swipe down from the top to open the Control Center and tap the
[Airplane Mode] icon. Or go to [Settings] and toggle [Airplane Mode].
In some OPPO devices, go to [Settings] > [Connection & sharing] and toggle [Airplane mode] to turn on/off.
Use Secure Wi-Fi When Travelling
If you're traveling internationally, you can still save battery life! Use a secure Wi-Fi network rather than roaming while abroad, as roaming keeps searching for networks and puts extra demand on your battery.
Clean Your Phone
Spring clean isn't just for your home. Deep clean your device periodically to give it the tidying up it deserves. Uninstall apps that you haven’t used in over a month. Delete old, unused photos and videos from your Photos app. Or maybe transfer them to your computer/ cloud.
