Background

As per the feedback from overseas, F3 Plus is easily getting heated in demo device mode.

Solution

1.[Reproduce]

1. The test result of temperature increase for F3 Plus is better than F1s on-sale

2. The selling points have relatively high temperature, it is easier to get heated in continuous demo device mode

3. F3 Plus gets higher temperature when using beauty camera

4. Since F3 Plus have better CPU performance, which lead to faster temperature increase in use of large power-consumption apps (camera, games etc.)
    

2.[Conclusion]

Since CPU MSM8976 Pro gets better performance, when using camera or game app, the CPU performance will be totally played and lead to more heat, the temperature will get increased. Once receive this kind of feedback, test with temperature gun and refer to the Temperature gun using guidance for overseas service centers V1.0_20160824. If the tested temperature is within the normal range, suggest the user to exit close some application running in the background and then standby for 2 minutes until the temperature return normal.
 

3.[Following Improvement]

The upcoming version will keep optimizing this issue by releasing an OTA version, will make optimization aims at specific scenarios, e.g., adjustment of screen brightness, trucecallerCPU which have higher ratio of scenarios.
