Continue reading the simple guide we created below to know how to deal with this issue, so you can listen to your favorite music in peace.
Applicable to: All Bluetooth headset used with OPPO smartphones.
Bluetooth earphone sound broken and discontinuous
Possible cause
Unstable Bluetooth signal
Since the available transmitting distance is limited to 10 meters for Bluetooth, if you keep your Bluetooth headset far from the device, the sound will be discontinuous because of the unstable signal.
High Wi-Fi and GPS usage
Turning on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS at the same time may affect the Bluetooth connection too. For example, when you are using Wi-Fi to download and upload data or using GPS to locate while using Bluetooth, that will affect the Bluetooth connection causing Bluetooth audio stutter.
Low battery
The Bluetooth headphones are running out of battery.
Things you can do
To keep the signal stable, we suggest you get the Bluetooth and device closer, at least within the 10 meter ranger or closer.
To ensure Bluetooth's full functionality when paired, it is best to disable other functions like Wi-Fi, GPS, location sharing, and file transferring/downloading.
Check if the Bluetooth earphones did not run out of battery.
Reset connection and reconnect the Bluetooth headphones with your phone. Put the Bluetooth earphones back to its charging casing then follow instructions on pairing to other devices. *Some earphones need to long-press for 2 seconds and others for 3 seconds. Please read the user guide of the Bluetooth earphones. If your Bluetooth earphones has no charging case, check the pairing instruction and reconnect it with your OPPO phone.
If the earphones still won't work, restore Bluetooth earphones to its *factory settings and check if this fixes the issue. *Check guidelines on the earphones you are using on how to factory reset.
