Identify Which SIM is Receiving the Incoming Call or Message
If you have an OPPO phone with dual SIM cards and are using them simultaneously, you might want to know which one receives a call or message. To find out, follow the steps in the article below. Keep reading!
Applicable to: OPPO Smartphones with dual SIM.
Incoming or outgoing calls
OPPO dialer
In the [Phone] app, go to the call history and check below the caller/recipient name or number to see if the call is from SIM 1 or 2.
Google Phone dialer
In some OPPO devices that have the default Phone application by Google, you can check it by going to the [Phone] application > [Recents], and you may check under the caller or recipient's name if the call is from SIM 1 or SIM 2.
On the other hand, you will see the topmost part of an incoming call from which SIM is getting the call.
When making a call, you can also choose the SIM you want to use if you have not set the default SIM for the call on your phone.
Incoming or outgoing messages
OPPO Messages
Go to the [Messages] application on your OPPO phone, choose a message you want to check, and tap on it. You can see if the message is from SIM 1 or SIM 2 above the text message, next to the time or date.
Google Messages
For OPPO devices that have the default Google Messages, you can check through:
Go to the [Messages] application.
Choose the message you want to check.
Tap and hold the message until it bolds.
At the top right, tap [
More ] and [View details]. From there, you will be able to see the details of the message, such as which SIM the message was from, the time and date, and more.
When replying to a message or making a call, you can choose the SIM you want to use if you have not set the default SIM on your phone.
