How to Change Bluetooth Codec and Improve Bluetooth Audio Quality?

 

Situation: You want to change the Bluetooth codec on your device.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

1. Enter to Developer Mode. Go to [Settings] > [About Phone], and tap [Version] 7 times until prompted "You are now in Developer Mode!". *On some ColorOS versions, Go to [Settings] > [About Phone] > [Version] > and tap [Build number] 7 times until prompted "You are now in Developer Mode!".

2. Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Developer Options] > Toggle [Developer Options] to enable.

3. Scroll down the Developer Options to [Bluetooth audio codec] and select the preferred codec.
