Why is WhatsApp Media Not Showing in OPPO Phone Gallery

At some point, we want to save the photos or videos sent to us by our loved ones through social media- or even in messaging applications, like Whatsapp, to treasure the memories you shared and reminisce all the good times. You can save your Whatsapp media on your OPPO phone gallery by toggling the Media Visibility on the settings. To learn more about this, read on!

WhatsApp Media in OPPO Phone Gallery

1. On your phone, go to [WhatsApp].

2. At the upper right corner, tap the [ three-dotted vertical line].

3. Then tap [Settings].

   

4. Then tap [Chats], and toggle [Media visibility] to turn on. 

Note: You need to download the media sent to you on your Whatsapp first before viewing it in your OPPO phone gallery. 

You can also enable the auto-download through:

1. Open the [WhatsApp] application on your phone.

2. At the upper right corner, tap the [ three-dotted vertical line].

3. Then tap [Storage and data].

4. Under the "Media auto-download," tap the choices you wish to apply when downloading a media file.

• You can download media using [Mobile data], when [Connected to a Wi-Fi] or [Roaming] and toggle all the media you wish to download.
