Why Is OPPO Flashlight Disabled When OPPO Phone Camera Is On?

When scrolling down the OPPO status bar and checking your shortcuts, you might notice that your OPPO Flashlight has been disabled or unable to switch on. At first it may be concerning as you are unable to turn on the flashlight but, we would like to assure you that it could be due to the camera flash feature. When using the camera flashlight for taking photos, it will automatically disable to OPPO flashlight function for certain OPPO devices that have this feature available. 

Once you have turned off the camera flashlight option, please try the OPPO flashlight again and it should return back to its orginal status. 

Situation: You are unable to turn on the flashlight on your phone because it's disabled.

Applicable to: All OPPO Smartphones.

This is happening because the flashlight function and the camera flash function both use the same hardware module. When turning on both the functions at the same time, the camera flash function will be prioritized, closing and disabling flashlight.

Turn off the camera to use flashlight.
